Create a giant logo out of second hand recycled clothing
Rags to Riches is a feel-good teambuilding activity that offers participants an engaging platform to ‘give back’, while simultaneously recycling unwanted items. After identifying a national charity, or local community cause that will benefit from your event, we will help you organize the collection of clothing, and other recyclable items from the delegates.
At the session, teams partake in a dynamic networking, and communication challenge to recreate a giant version of your logo in pre-determined, marked out areas using all the donated items. There is an ideal photo opportunity at the end as everyone celebrates their collective creativity. We then arrange for the delivery of all the goods to your chosen charities.
Success during Rags to Riches demands individual responsibility to how participants’ respective roles impact the overall vision. From an organisational perspective, this fun exercise helps to break down silo mentality, and cement cooperative values. From a behavioural perspective, Rags to Riches can be positioned to reinforce business metaphors that highlight how a small shift in personal habits can have a huge cumulative impact. During the program participants are reminded of the impact that the clothing industry has on the environment. How much water it takes to make a cotton shirt and and most importantly a reminder that 95% of textiles can be recycled!
